I recently stopped by this little takeaway gem while visiting the coast, and I must say, it was an incredible experience! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with friendly smiles from the staff, which made me feel welcome right away. I ordered the classic fish and chips, and they didn't disappoint. The fish was perfectly battered and fried to a golden crisp, while the chips were fluffy on the inside and had a nice crunch on the outside. I also appreciated that they serve a variety of sauces to choose from, but I have to recommend the tartare sauce – it’s homemade and absolutely delicious! One tiny suggestion would be to have some sort of seating arrangement, as it can get quite busy, and it would be nice to enjoy the meal at the spot instead of in the car. I had the pleasure of visiting this takeaway last weekend, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The menu was straightforward, and it was easy to choose what to order. I went for the fish burger and some chips. The burger was packed with flavour, and the fish was so fresh – it was a treat! The chips, however, were the standout for me; they were crispy and seasoned just right. The only thing that could use a bit of improvement is the cleanliness of the dining area. It was a bit cluttered when I arrived, which made me hesitate to sit down. But once I got my food, all was forgiven! It’s hard to stay mad when you’re enjoying such good food. Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot; just maybe grab your takeaway and enjoy it at the beach!
